Public Art

Public art is important to Misty, as a way to connect the community through art.

The Piedmont Project

As the pandemic unfolding in the spring of 2020, Misty used her creativity and compassion to say thank you to the healthcare workers who were on the front lines. She created this large work that resides at the Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

The Hapeville Project

“Out-of-the-Box” is a free public art installation. Similar to the free library concept, but instead of books, you take and leave art. Misty’s concept of a colorful crayon box that represents our colorful world - one of diversity, inclusion and commUNITY was chosen and commissioned by the Hapeville Arts.
